Airbnb partners Deutsche Telekom to boost presence in Europe, including Romania

U.S. rent and lodging marketplace Airbnb teamed up with German telecom group Deutsche Telekom to increase its presence in 13 European markets, including Romania. Deutsche Telekom accepted to preinstall Airbnb’s accommodation app on all Android phones it sells via its network in all its European markets, Romania included. The two companies also have a special deal this spring will get a special deal this spring offering a EUR 30 voucher to all customers who register with Airbnb through Deutsche Telekom. “The partnership will allow us to focus even more on mobile devices and address new users throughout Europe,” said Christopher Cederskog, Regional Manager for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Southeast Europe at Airbnb. Airbnb is a community marketplace for people to list, discover, and book accommodations around the world.
