airBaltic launches direct route between Bucharest and Riga

Latvian airline airBaltic has launched a new summer route between Riga and the Romanian capital of Bucharest, starting June 3, 2014. This is the first direct route between Bucharest and the Baltic region. airBaltic will have four weekly flights on this route which will services customers travelling between the two cities and onwards to destinations such as Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Vilnius, Tallinn, the company announced. The flights from Bucharest to Riga are four times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The flight takes 2 hours and 55 minutes.
