Affichage Holding takes over full control of Romania subsidiary, appoints new CEO

Swiss-based out-of-home (OOH) advertising company Affichage Holding has taken over 30 percent in Affichage Romania from minority shareholder Ventris, thus becoming full owner of the Romanian subsidiary, the company has announced. Affichage has appointed former Chief Operating Officer Rene Rosenberg (in picture) as Chief Executive Officer. Frank Mayr will be the company's new Chief Technology Officer. Affichage Romania will relocate headquarters to Metav Business Park in Bucharest at the beginning of February.

Affichage Romania holds a 30 percent market share, according to its estimations. It owns over 4,600 outdoor advertising spaces in 60 cities in Romania. It also works on street advertising projects together with municipalities in Bucharest, Brasov, Iasi, Timisoara, Constanta, Oradea, Botosani, Vaslui, Sighisoara, among others. In 2007, Affichage Romania bought two local companies, RBN and Amco.
