About 300 Romanians have ordered the new Apple Watch, just two weeks after its launch. Ten of them, three women and seven men, have ordered the gold-plated version, priced between RON 50,000 and RON 80,000 (EUR 11,330-18,129), according to retailer Quickmobile. The regular version costs RON 1,850 (EUR 419) in Romania. Buyers of the gold – plated versions paid directly by credit card, said Tudor Tiboc, CEO Quickmobile.
