New research project to be hosted in Romania's Danube Delta

After the Magurele high-power laser, Romania aims to fund a new European research structure called DANUBIUS-RI. The new research project will consist of a Hub hosted by Romania in the Danube Delta, which will be connected to laboratories in Europe. For the first time, maritime coastal erosion problems, sediments, and biodiversity will be analyzed throughout the Danube-Delta- Black Sea system and the results/solutions will be compared with other such systems: rivers-delta-seas, project coordinators told local Hotnews.ro.
