Medicover sees 19% revenue increase in Romania

Swedish medical services group Medicover increased its revenues in Romania by 19% in the first quarter of this year versus the same period of 2017, to EUR 21.2 million.

Romania has a share of 13% in the group’s revenues, being its third-biggest market after Poland and Germany. Overall, Medicover group recorded a 14% increase in revenues, to EUR 161.9 million.

The group operates in Romania through the Medicover clinic network and the Synevo test lab network. Medicover Romania operates 25 clinics and a hospital in Bucharest while Synevo has 16 laboratories and 86 collection centers.
