How many people visited Romania's only dinosaur park in one year?

Dino Parc Rasnov, the largest dinosaur park in Southeast Europe and the only park of this kind in Romania, registered 350,000 visitors in the first year after opening, reports local News.ro. Located in Rasnov, near Brasov, in central Romania, the park has hosted several events in this period, including three unique scientific exhibitions. “Because people show a great interest in the park, we try to bring new, interesting and educational things all the time. Therefore, we reinvest a significant part of the revenues to keep developing the park at both interactive and scientific level,” said Adrian Apostu, manager Dino Parc. The number of tourists in the Rasnov area also increased by 50% year-on-year, according to park representatives. Dino Parc Rasnov, which is located near the Rasnov Citadel, was opened in June last year. Besides the 46 scientifically built dinosaurs people can take pictures with, the park also includes playgrounds for children, tree houses, and a cinema. Tickets cost RON 28 for adults, and RON 22 for children, and kids under 3 enter for free.
