A project stating that the Value Added Tax (VAT) can be paid 30 days after the invoice is paid passed the Senate yesterday but it still needs the Lower House approval to be enforced. VAT is currently paid when the invoice is paid. However, the project was not supported by the Finance Ministry, whose representatives said this will have a negative impact on the state budget.
