Around two thirds of Romanian drivers prefer to buy second-hand cars, while 12 percent want a new car and the rest are undecided, found a recent study issued by Auto.ro and Daedalus Millward Brown market research company.

Around two thirds of Romanian drivers prefer to buy second-hand cars, while 12 percent want a new car and the rest are undecided, found a recent study issued by Auto.ro and Daedalus Millward Brown market research company.
The preference for second – hand cars grew by 15 percentage points compared to 2010, while plans to buy new cars registered a 10 percentage point set back, according to Bogdan Axinia, general manager of Auto.ro. Romanians favor German car brands, with Volkswagen on top, followed by Opel and BMW.
