Special jazz event in Bogata, the Romanian village where Snoop Dogg checked in by mistake

Romania’s small village Bogata has become very popular online after famous American rapper Snoop Dogg accidentally checked in this place on Instagram. Earlier this month, the rapper was in Colombia’s capital Bogota but instead checked in Bogata, a small Romanian village in Mures county. His mistake led to thousands of likes and comments, especially from Romanians who invited him to come to Romania for real. And,the rapper promised to do that. However, until Snoop Dogg decides to visit Bogata for real, the organizers of local Jazz in the Park festival have decided to organize a special event in the small village on April 3. Romanian ethno jazz singer Maria Raducanu, Jazzybirds, Les Nuages and Danaga are part of the event’s lineup. Moreover, besides bringing good music to the village, Jazz in the Park Bogata Edition also aims to raise funds for Bogata's first park. More information will soon be posted here.
