Sibiu Jazz Festival returns with new edition this May

The 47th edition of Sibiu Jazz Festival, the longest running such event in Romania, will take place between May 18 and May 21. Around 120 musicians from 17 countries will hold concerts in the Grand Square in Sibiu in this period, the program also including shows for children, and photo and sculpture exhibitions. A novelty of this year’s edition of the event is the “Romanian Jazz Meeting” project, which provides the audience with an insight into the secrets of local jazz, while also helping Romanian musicians to become known internationally. Another surprise is the free entrance throughout the four days. The festival’s lineup includes Jazappella, Accord Vibes, Karnas Formula, DJazz & Happy Sins, Jeff Herr Corporation, Mauro Sigura Quartet, and Natalia M. King Quintet.
