Romania's unemployment rate was of 7.08 percent in October, slightly down from 7.35 percent a month earlier, according to the country’s employment agency ANOFM. Romania's jobless rate was 7.1 percent at this time last year. The total number of unemployed people reached 645,000 in October, compared with 670,000 in September, according to ANOFM. At the end of October, the number of unemployment claims rose slightly to 329,000 from 325,000 in the previous month. Mediafax
