A Romanian eats around 97 kilograms of bread on average a year, twice as much as a Dane and seven times more than a Brit, found a research from AIB International. Romania is followed by Cyprus, with 74 kilos of bread per inhabitant a year, and Belgium, with 67 kilos of bread. The bread consumption in UK is of only 14 kilos a year.
