Romanian tennis player Simona Halep was voted best dressed player at this year’s Australian Open. Her purple adidas dress received 41% of the votes, reports wtatennis.com. Russian Maria Sharapova came second with 24% of the votes, followed by American player Serena Williams – 20%, Venus Williams – 6%, Caroline Wozniacki – 5% and Victoria Azarenka – 3%. Halep was eliminated in the quarter finals of the Australian Open by Russian Ekaterina Makarova, after two sets 4-6, 0-6.
