Romanian landscape, among the winners of this year’s National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest

An autumn landscape shot in Romania was one of the winning photos of the National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest 2015. Romanian photographer Eduard Gutescu took this picture near Bran, a mountain region in the center of Romania. He named his photo Romania, land of fairy tales. Gutescu’s photo was one of the top 10 best pictures out of a total of 17,000 entries in this year’s competition. An underwater photograph of divers swimming near a humpback whale taken by Anuar Patjane Floriuk of Tehuacán, Puebla, Mexico, has won the 2015 National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest grand prize.
