Romanian advertising agency gets five international awards for local campaigns

Advertising agency McCann Bucharest landed five awards at the Golden Drum, for local advertising campaigns, including the social shepherd campaign for Vodafone (Ghita the Shepherd) and the Prank the Prankster campaign for Mega Image, by which a Mega Image shop opened in the newsroom of a local news satire website. McCann Worldgroup also got the Agency Network of the Year prize, and won 3 Grand Prix, 4 Golden Drums, 7 Silver Drums, and had 20 nominations, for campaigns in 10 countries. McCann Bucharest got one Grand Prix, 2 Golden Drums, and 2 Silver Drums. The Golden Drum awards took place between October 7 and 12 in Slovenia. editor@romania-insider.com
