Romania won the women's team epee world title Friday at the Fencing World Championship in Paris, France. Romania's Anca Maroiu, Simona Alexandru and Ana Branza won 35-26 against Germany in the final.

Romania won the women's team epee world title Friday at the Fencing World Championship in Paris, France. Romania's Anca Maroiu, Simona Alexandru and Ana Branza won 35-26 against Germany in the final. Romania also won two bronze medals in this year's fencing championships, one for Cosmin Hanceanu at the individual epee event and one for the country's men's team epee. Mediafax
