The Bucharest Public Transport Company (RATB) will pay over EUR 760,000 on real time monitoring and control system for buses and troleybuses. The company is currently in the process of buying the products needed for the 1,100 buses and troleybuses in Bucharest.
The RATB has modernized the ticket validation system across its buses, trams and troleybuses. It no longer uses paper tickets, but plastic cars than can be recharged with certain amounts of money, equivalent of a travel title. The cost of a travel title is of RON 1.3.
