Opposition parties prepare no-confidence motion, already plan new Govt. structure

The two Romanian opposition parties, the National Liberal Party (PNL) and the Social Democratic Party (PSD) will jointly submit a no-confidence motion against the Government, during the Parliament session this fall, according to PNL head Crin Antonescu. The motion will be subject to vote as soon as possible and, if the motion passes, PNL and PSD will decide on the new Government. The two parties will soon start to draft their ruling program, Antonescu has also said. This comes at a time when the Romanian prime Minister Emil Boc is expected to announce a Govt. reshuffle, after several of the ministers in the current cabinet have been criticized for their activity.
