German retailer New Yorker will open a store in Unirea Shopping Center downtown Bucharest, according to Bogdan Bozdoc, the retailer's development manager quoted by newswire Mediafax. The new store will cover 990 sqm, with the average investment for such an unit reaching EUR 1,000 per sqm. The store will be located between the current Zara and KFC units in the shopping center. New Yorker runs a network of 14 stores in Romania, having entered the Romanian market in 2007. editor@romania-insider.com
