Michael Jackson tribute show starts world tour from Bucharest this summer

The Ultimate Thriller - The Michael Jackson Tribute – LIVE show will start its world tour from Bucharest’s Constitutiei Square on July 7. Jennifer Batten, LaVelle Smith Jr, Michael Prince, Sam Sims, and the rest of Michael Jackson’s team will go on the same stage again, seven years after the King of Pop’s death. The new show will combine the hits promoted in the Bad and Dangerous tours. Tickets for the show in Romania cost between RON 80 (EUR 18) and RON 450 (some EUR 100) and can be purchased online at eventim.ro. The famous Michael Jackson first came to Romania in 1992. It was the first big concert the Romanians got to see after the fall of communism in 1989. The King of Pop returned to Romania four years later, in 1996, and gathered some 80,000 fans to his concert. Michael Jackson died in the summer of 2009, aged 50. His most well-known hits are Thriller, Black or White, Bad, Beat It, and Billie Jean.
