Lottery held for passes to Romania's 2019 George Enescu music festival

The organizers of the George Enescu International Music Festival in Romania, the biggest cultural event in the country, held a lottery on Monday, November 26, to select the people who will get to buy passes for the 2019 edition of the festival. Almost 4,000 people participated in this lottery for a total of 1,850 passes in various categories that were put up for sale. For example, over 3,500 people competed for the 1,200 passes for the Great Orchestras of the World series. The lottery draw was broadcasted live on the festival’s website, YouTube channel and Facebook page. The winners will be contacted by the ticketing platform Eventim and will be presented with the offer for buying tickets. If some of the winners won’t buy passes, these will be redistributed to those selected on the waiting lists.
