Farmers’ markets are the most popular when it comes to buying seasonal fresh food from local producers, but some small farmers have decided to move in online and deliver their products straight to their customers’ doors, which helps a lot these days if you want to avoid the crowded markets in Bucharest.

Legume Fericite(which would translate as Happy vegetables in English) is a small family business growing bio vegetables and fruits on a small farm. They sell their freshly grown products online at Legumefericite.ro and offer delivery services in and around Bucharest (and even elsewhere in the country). In addition to seasonal vegetables and fruits, their online store also provides chicken eggs and meat, jam, syrup, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. On weekends, customers can also find Legume Fericite in Piata Amzei farmers’ market in Bucharest.
Legume de Tara(which would translate as Vegetables from the countryside) is another small family business selling seasonal vegetables and fruits grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. But although their name would suggest that they’re only producing vegetables, Legume de Tara’s offer also includes poultry and eggs, as well as dairy products, cold meats, sweets, and beverages made by their partners.
