Lifestyle TV channel Fashion One launches in Romania, broadcasted by Orange TV

Fashion One, the global TV network that focuses on lifestyle, travel, entertainment and fashion, was recently launched in Romania. The lifestyle TV channel is broadcast by Orange TV, as part of its Premium HD package, but is also available on multiple Orange TV devices. Fashion One will broadcast fashion and entertainment news, as well as information on lifestyle, holiday destinations, events and celebrity profiles. In June, the TV channel will present Front Row (spring/summer collection 2013) and the international fashion week in London, Paris and Milan for the spring/summer 2014 collections. Fashion One is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bigfoot Entertainment, an integrated entertainment and production company with offices in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cebu and Hamburg. The TV network broadcasts internationally across multiple platforms, including direct-to-home satellite television, cable television and new media such as IPTV and the web. Telecom company Orange recently launched its TV service in Romania, with 95 channels, out of which 40 are in High Definition format, which is a first on the Romanian market coming from a mobile operator. The service will be available on the TV set, and on the computer, via satellite and the internet. Orange thus starts competing with providers such as RCD & RDS, Romtelecom and UPC, which also offer satellite TV services in Romania.
