Italian tenor Alessandro Safina to perform in Bucharest this year

One of the most famous Italian tenors, Alessandro Safina will perform live on March 7, 2012, 19:30 at Sala Palatului in Bucharest. The concert is titled 'Insieme a te' ( With you ). Safina will be accompanied by the Ion Dacian National Operetta Theatre Orchestra, conducted by Francesco Rosa. This will not be Alessandro Safina's first performance in Romania, he also held concerts in Bucharest in 2008 and 2009.

Alessandro Safina, born October 14, 1963 in Siena, Italy, achieved fame with his biggest hit to date, "Luna (Only You)", which was part of the soundtrack for the Portuguese TV series 'O clone’ ('The Clone’). Among the names that have collaborated with Safina are the British Soprano Sarah Brightman and actor Ewan McGregor. He has 4 albums to date Alessandro Safina ( 2001 ), Insieme a Te ( 2002 ), Musica Di Te ( 2003 ), Sognami ( 2007 ). More details about Safina on his official website.
