HTC launches M9 smartphone in Romania, telecom operator first to pre-sell it

HTC yesterday launched its newest model, the HTC One M9, in Romania, where several telecom operators and retailers start selling the device. Vodafone started taking pre-orders online for the smartphone, which will be delivered from April 3. It sells the device for EUR 249 with a RED 49 subscription on two years. Equipped with a 20 megapixel camera, the HTC One M9 also benefits from BoomSound™ with 5.1 Dolby® Surround sound. It runs on a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 810 octa-core processor, and the latest Adroid operating system, 5.0 Lollipop. The device is available in Romania shortly after its worldwide launch, said Mihai Nodea, regional manager with HTC Romania, Hungary and Moldova. The M9 launched in Barcelona on March 1.
