Clasic music on the big screen: Romanian George Enescu Festival concerts to be broadcasted in local cinemas

Some of the most important concerts within this year’s edition of George Enescu International Festival will be broadcasted live in Bucharest’s Grand Cinema & More and five other local cinemas across the country. Between August 30 and September 20, classical music lovers in Bucharest, Constanta, Timisoara, Pitesti, Oradea, and Cluj Napoca will have the chance to see a series of live concerts from the festival’s program. The Grand Cinema & More cinema in Bucharest, as well as Cityplex Constanta, Cortina Digiplex in Oradea, Trivale Cinema in Pitesti, Victoria Cinema in Cluj-Napoca, and the Eugen Tudoran Academic Library Hall in Timisoara will show the concerts. Moreover, the Romanian Television recently launched enescu.tvr.ro, a website exclusively dedicated to the festival. The website is not only a source of information, but it will also be a video platform that will broadcast live the concerts to be organized at the Romanian Athenaeum and Sala Palatului, according to TVR. The George Enescu International Festival also has a special mobile app, adapted for mobile phones with large screens and high resolution. The new app offers users real-time information about this year’s edition of the event, pictures, news and articles, and information about well-known Romanian composer George Enescu. It can be downloaded for free from Google Play and App Store. This year’s edition of the festival will start on Sunday, August 30, and will end on September 20.
