Cosmote to add iPhone 4 to its offer in the following period

Telecom operator Cosmote Romania will bring the iPhone 4 to Romania in the following period, the company has announced, without mentioning the exact date of the launch. Cosmote is the third operator on the Romanian market to announce it will sell the iPhone 4 locally, after Orange Romania and Vodafone Romania. Orange actually launched the iPhone 4 in Romania on September 24, and Vodafone has recently said it will bring the terminal to Romania by Christmas. The iPhone 4 is enabled with video calling with FaceTime and comes with a high-resolution display, HD video recording, a 5-megapixel camera, Apple A4 processor and more, Orange Romania said in a press release. iPhone 4 comes with the iOS4 operating system, which includes over 100 new features. A subscription-free iPhone 4 will sell for 4,500 lei (EUR 1,056), VAT included. With an Orange subscription, the cheapest offer for iPhone 4 16GB is of EUR 169, with a two-year subscription of EUR 49. editor@romania-insider.com
