China National Electric Equipment Corporation is interested in building an energy project at Rovinari in Romania, an investment estimated to reach EUR 1 billion, according to Vasile Tudorescu, head of investments with CE Rovinari. Tudorescu has been meeting representatives of the Chinese company and negotiating a possible partnership. CE Rovinari was included in the future state energy company Electra.
