Calling all wannabe directors: 60 second film competition open to Romania

It's a familiar situation; a few drinks and the mini reenactment of a favorite scene from a film. Although the results are often excruciating, the Done in 60 Seconds Jameson Empire awards offers would be film makers the chance to prove their worth by recreating their favorite movies in 60 seconds. Three Romanian winners will be chosen by a jury, with EUR 4,500 in prizes up for grabs, and the best 60 second film going through to represent Romania in the international competition.

All entries must either be in English or subtitled in English and the winners get to go to a bona fide glittering awards ceremony in London in March next year. So get out the camera, enthusiastically petition friends and family to participate and start casting doubt on your mental stability by rehearsing acceptance speeches at every opportunity.
