The metro strike which was scheduled for this Thursday has been canceled after the employees of the company which runs the Bucharest metro, Metrorex, have reached an agreement with the company's management on signing a new collective work contract. The Metrorex employees have received an increase of the base salary through the transfer of several premium to the base salary. An investment budget for improving work conditions has also been allotted.
