Winter is gone, the sun is shining upon Bucharest and this means it’s time to spend more hours outdoors. Outdoor activities such as roller skating, cycling, or jogging can keep you happy and healthy. Although Bucharest’s cycling infrastructure is not so friendly, Romania’s capital has some large parks where you can ride your bike. If you don’t have your own bike, here’s a list of bike rental centers in Bucharest. I’Velo bike-sharing centers Three rental centers in Bucharest: Aviatorilor (Charles de Gaulle entry in Herastrau Park), at the Arch of Triumph and in Tineretului Park. Tariffs: RON 5 per hour, RON 15 per 24 hours; renting is done based on an ID card. Online booking also available here. Program: In May, the centers are opened from Monday to Friday between 11:00 and 21:00 (last rental at 20:00, and on Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 and 21:00 (last rental at 20:00).
