Australian ska-jazz band The Cat Empire back to Romania for October concert

Australian ska and jazz band The Cat Empire will perform in Bucharest this autumn. The concert, which is part of the tour to promote the new album Rising with the Sun, will take place at Arenele Romane, on October 23. Felix Reibl, the band’s lead singer, describes the new album as being "an explosive world full of fireworks and exotic flavors alongside a very deep rhythm." The Cat Empire was formed in 1999. The band is formed of six members, namely Felix Riebl (vocals, percussions), Harry James Angus (vocals, trumpet), Will Hull-Brown (drums), Jamshid "Jumps" Khadiwhala (decks, percussion), Ollie McGill (keyboard, backing vocals), and Ryan Monro (bass, backing vocals). The band previously played in Romania two years ago. Romanian band The Kryptonite Sparks will open this year’s gig in Bucharest.
