Another kind of music festival in Romania: participants power up the speakers by pedaling

Bucharest will host a different kind of music event on June 20. At Bicycle Music Festival, an event dedicated to bikes and music enthusiasts, participants will play a key role as they will be the ones who will produce the energy to power up the speakers. There will be four stages located in several locations in Bucharest, reports local Mediafax. Participants will produce the energy needed for the entire sound and lighting system, by pedaling their bikes. The festival will follow a route that will link four key points in Bucharest where bikers usually meet. A stage will be placed in each of these four places. The festival will include eight artists/bands, four stages, 2,000 watts produced by pedaling, 100 volunteers and a caravan of bicycles.
