Annual ball, street parade and comedy festival to mark St. Patrick's Day in Bucharest this year

Several events will mark St. Patrick's Day in Romania this year. The annual St Patrick’s Day Ball, organized by the Ireland Romania Network (IRN), will take place on March 14 at Athenée Palace Hilton Hotel in Bucharest starting 19,00. Tickets for the event are priced at EUR 135, with an early bird rate available until February 21. More details here. The St. Patrick parade is scheduled for Sunday, March 16.While following a slightly different route to last year, the parade will be led by a 20 member pipe band who are coming from Ireland especially for the occasion, according to the Irish Embassy to Bucharest.
