American jazz singer Gregory Porter to perform in Romania next spring

American jazz singer Gregory Porter comes for a concert in Romania next year. The gig will take place at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, on April 24, and the tickets are already on sale. Porter was born in Sacramento in 1971. He wanted to have a career in American football, but a shoulder injury ended his dream. He then went for a musical career, recording his first album in 2010, which was followed by a second album in 2012. One year later, in 2013, the artist released the album number three – Liquid Spirit, which enjoyed a real success and brought him the 2014 Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album. A fourth album, called Take Me to the Alley, was released this year.

Tickets for the concert in Bucharest have promotional prices between RON 108 (EUR 24) and RON 198 (EUR 44) until November 21. After this date, they will cost between RON 120 (EUR 27) and RON 220 (EUR 49). The VIP tickets have a price of RON 260 (EUR 58) and are not included in the presale campaign. Find tickets online here.
