Spanish group Inditex rents 1,500 sqm in Globalworth Tower in Bucharest

Spanish group Inditex, one of the largest fashion retailers in the world, has moved its Bucharest headquarters to the Globalworth Tower, the second-tallest building in Romania.

The tower is owned by the real estate company Globalworth, founded by Greek investor Ioannis Papalekas. It's located on the Barbu Vacarescu boulevard, in Northern Bucharest.

The new Inditex office, which is located on the building’s ninth floor, will host about 100 employees.

Inditex owns brands such as Zara or Oysho. The group recorded a net profit of EUR 3.16 billion worldwide in the 2016 fiscal year.

The Globalworth portfolio includes real estate investments in Romania with an estimated value of EUR 983.3 million at the end of March.
