Fan Courier puts EUR 15 mln in new HQ and sorting center
Romanian parcel services firm Fan Courier will open new headquarters in September, which required an investment of EUR 15 million. The 30,000 sqm land plot's cost was of EUR 2.5 million, while the cost of the building, EUR 8.8 million. The rest to EUR 15 million was covered by the sorting equipment. The investment was made from the firm's own funds.
Fan Courier employs 2,300 staff and plans to hire 200 more this year. The company plans to achieve a
turnover of EUR 43.8 million this year, up 10 percent on last year. Fan Courier was set up in 1998 by three Romanians: Felix Patrascanu, Adrian Mihai and Neculai Mihai.
