How many Romanians have TV subscriptions?

Romania had 6.8 million TV subscribers at the end of June this year, up by 4.5% compared to June 2014. Some 4.4 million people owned TV subscriptions to cable networks, namely 65% of the total, whereas 2.3 million Romanians watched TV via satellite networks. Only 1% of the total number of subscribers watched TV via IP technology. Their number amounted to 70,000 up by 9.8% year-on-year. About 61% of all the subscribers lived in cities, and the majority of them watched TV via cable networks.
