Hilton sees potential for expansion in Romania

Five-star hotel chain Hilton Worldwide wants to open seven new hotels in Romania, with two of them due to inaugurate this year, in Sighisoara and Iasi. “Romania, like Russia and Turkey, is an ascending market in the region, with a growing potential for the Hilton Worldwide brands. Particularly in Romania, there are signs of growth in the hospitality industry," said Essam Abouda, Hilton Worldwide Vice President for Eastern Europe, Russia, and Turkey, cited by local Wall-street.ro.
