The USD dollar hit a new record on Monday, March 16, of RON 4.2107/USD, whereas the European currency euro dropped by RON 0.0102 to RON 4.4370/USD. On Friday, the Romanian National Bank announced a RON 4.4472/EUR exchange rate, respectively RON 4.2012/USD. The dollar hit a new record last Wednesday, of RON 4.2059/USD, reaching its sixth consecutive high. The Swiss franc went up yesterday from RON 4.1728/CHF, to RON 4.1940/CHF. The investors will focus this week on the US Fed Reserve meeting which starts today and ends tomorrow. editor@romania-insider.com
