Romanian tourism agency Millennium Tour, which created the local tour operator Paravion, has launched a new portal called Concediu.com, which it plans to develop with EUR 1 million worth of investments in the following years, reports local Profit.ro.

Millennium Tour sold Paravion to Spanish investment fund GED in 2010. Meanwhile, Paravion has become the biggest online tour operator in Romania.

Millennium Tour also plans to sell Concediu.com in up to five years. The new portal allows tourists to book full travel packages (accommodation, transport, meals) from several tour operators that offer holidays abroad (charter packages to Greece, Turkey, Spain, Portugal) or in Romania.

In the first stage, the website will include over 3,000 touristic packages to over 40 destinations. Some 80% of them are for trips abroad.

The platform Concediu.com has been developed by TravelFuse, a company offering technological solutions for the tourism industry.
