Romanian state airline Tarom launches its first mobile app for booking and check-in

Romanian state-owned airline Tarom announced on Thursday, September 27, the launch of its first mobile app for booking, ticketing and check-in. The app will also offer its users a history of their trips and the possibility to keep in touch with the company directly. “2018 will be remembered as the year of Tarom’s upgrade,” said the company’s general manager Werner Wolff. The app is currently available in Google Play and an IOS version will also be launched in October. Tarom currently has 1,850 employees and operates domestic and international flights with a fleet of 25 aircraft. The company purchased several new aircraft in leasing and also signed a contract to buy five new Boeing 737-MAX, which will be delivered in 2023.
