iBanFirst "most likely" to turn Romanian office into regional headquarter

The French-Belgian fintech iBanFirst, a financial services provider for companies, one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in Europe, plans to turn its Romanian office into a hub for entire Eastern Europe.
On the local market, the company now has 200 corporate clients and estimates that it will attract another 400 by the end of the year.
"Eight months after the opening of the Bucharest office, we have more than 200 corporate clients, with a much faster pace since March - after the start of the war in Ukraine. March was the best month for us, with 42 new clients, and we still want to attract 30-40 companies a month to the platform. Our focus is on developing new capabilities, with customized solutions and products, and in the medium term, Romania will most likely become a hub for Eastern Europe," Alin Latu, country manager iBanFirst Romania, said.
