Romania’s FAN Courier invests EUR 10 mln to double lockers network to 2,000 units
FAN Courier, the leader of the courier market in Romania, announced that it is doubling the target for its lockers network to about 2,000 across the country under an additional investment estimated at EUR 10 mln, Ziarul Financiar reported.

FAN Courier, the leader of the courier market in Romania, announced that it is doubling the target for its lockers network to about 2,000 across the country under an additional investment estimated at EUR 10 mln, Ziarul Financiar reported.
FAN Courier launched in October 2022 its network of lockers under the FANbox label by announcing plans for the first 1,000 units estimated to cost EUR 10 mln.
The leader of the lockers market in Romania is Sameday, with its Easybox network that counts 4,000 in Romania (where it operates 3,500 units), Bulgaria and Hungary.
According to research commissioned by Sameday, 48% of the customers opt for locker delivery, compared to 28% for door delivery – the latter option registering a decrease of 11pp compared to last year.
