Update: In a response sent to the Romania Insider editorial office, Eurowind Energy noted that the large wind farm in Iasi County is scheduled for delivery in 2030, but added that connecting it to the national grid would require reinforcement works.
"The project is scheduled for connection to the national energy system in 2030, but at this point the grid still requires significant reinforcement. Connection in 2030 is feasible only if these grid reinforcement works are carried out and if we obtain the construction permit in a timely manner. Here too, predictability of deadlines and the correct application of the connection regulation are very important in order to successfully complete this investment. We are following every step and doing everything within our power to move forward," said Adrian Dobre, Country Manager at Eurowind Energy Romania.
