Romanian DIY retailer Dedeman reported a significant rise in sales for 2022, 10% to RON 11 bln (EUR 2.2 bln), an increase largely driven by higher prices and probably slightly smaller volumes. The profit edged up marginally by 1.45%, the company said, according to Economica.net.
Dedeman achieved a net profit of RON 1.7 bln in 2022, only 1.45% higher than in 2021.
However, the annual growth rate of net profit decreased significantly compared to the 15.4% y/y advance reported in 2021.
Dedeman's net profit margin reached 15.4% in 2022, more than 1pp below 2021.
