Romanian cinema operators generated a record EUR 63 million in revenue in 2025, despite attendance remaining largely unchanged from the previous year. The increase was driven primarily by higher ticket prices, according to an analysis by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox based on data from the Romanian Film Center.
Total cinema revenues reached RON 318.2 million (EUR 63 million) last year, up nearly 7% compared with RON 293 million (EUR 59 million) in 2024.
