BRK recommends BUY for Teraplast, sees 22% growth potential

BRK Financial Group (BVB: BRK), the only broker listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, initiated coverage for construction materials manufacturer TeraPlast (BVB: TRP) with a BUY recommendation and a target price of RON 0.633 per share – 22% above the current price.

"The year 2022 tested the maturity and resilience of businesses in Romania as a result of an unfavourable economic context characterized by accelerated inflation, high lending costs, respectively the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. We believe that Teraplast Group has shown stability on an uncertain market, managing to remain profitable and to complete investments of over RON 219 mln ( 2021-2022)," BRK analysts write, according to Ziarul Financiar.

The shares of the diversified industrial group Teraplast have been included by the Vienna Stock Exchange in the ROTX index following the review of its composition to take effect effective March 20, 2023.

"The inclusion of TeraPlast shares in the ROTX EUR index confirms that the visibility of TRP is increasing at the regional level, respectively, at the Vienna Stock Exchange," stated Alexandru Stânean, TeraPlast's CEO, at that time.
