Bitdefender opens its fifth development center in Romania
Romanian group Bitdefender, one of the biggest producers of cyber security solutions in the world, has opened a new office in Targu Mures, central Romania, its fifth in the country, Economica.net reported.

Romanian group Bitdefender, one of the biggest producers of cyber security solutions in the world, has opened a new office in Targu Mures, central Romania, its fifth in the country, Economica.net reported.
The company also plans to expand its offices in Iasi and Cluj-Napoca, this year, where it has over 250 employees. It also has offices in Bucharest and Timisoara.
The team in Targu Mures will focus on developing security software for connected devices, which will be integrated in the Bitdefender BOX device, which the company produces at a factory in Satu Mare, in northwestern Romania.
Bitdefender has tripled its global team in the last five years, reaching 1,600 employees, 1,350 of whom work in Romania. The company currently has 19 offices in 13 countries.
